Independence

Affiliate relationships are managed separately from research. Ratings, awards, rankings and descriptions are decided from our methodology, not from commission rates or affiliate availability. Platforms cannot pay for placement or for changes to a review.

Accuracy and sourcing

• Product facts must come from a recorded source, preferably the platform's own site, pricing page, help pages or legal pages.
• Facts we cannot verify are not published.
• We attribute company statements about privacy and data handling to the company and do not present them as independently verified.
• We do not copy competitor affiliate sites as a source of truth.

No fabricated testing

We never describe testing that has not happened. Hands-on testing is recorded with the tester, date, notes and evidence before testing language appears on a page. Pages that rely on published information say so.

Safety and eligibility

We only cover platforms intended for adults. We will not list or recommend a platform that we find permits sexual content involving minors, and we will remove any platform that is found to do so. Platforms' own content policies are linked from their reviews when we have confirmed them.

Corrections and updates

If you spot an error, contact us. We correct confirmed errors promptly and update the 'last verified' date only when facts have been re-checked. Product data older than 90 days is flagged internally for re-verification.

Use of automation and AI

Automated tools may help with research, drafting or monitoring. Anything published is checked against sources and reviewed by an editor first. We do not publish unreviewed machine-generated content.
